Don't you think Buttercups and Queen Anne's Lace feel snubbed in Spring when all the world is raving over all the flowers but mowing over them with reckless abandon? Well I have always appreciated the beauty of flowering weeds and even tried to bring bouquets of them to my mother...although that backfired due to her allergies.

As most inquisitive 4 year olds are, Liam was asking yet again how/why the sun goes down and where does it go. Obviously he had outgrown the whole idea that the sun goes to bed at night story. Spencer told him that when we got home he would show him with his globe and a flashlight.

As I was going about doing before bedtime things I saw this sight and ran to grab my camera. This was truly a priceless moment in time that I had to capture.

Lions Don't Like Pictures

Liam wanted to put on his one and only costume that my mom {{EDIT: correction, my seester bought it NOT my mom}} got him several years ago on a halloween clearance sale. After getting over the initial whining because he didn’t want to have to put it on himself…I inherited a lion as a pet for an hour or so (yes, I know it is a cat costume but to my little man it has always been a lion…therefore, it IS a Lion costume). Of course I grabbed my camera first thing. Noticing his serious expression, I asked:

“What’s with the face?”

“Lion’s don’t like pictures.”
