Allies for Alexis

My dear cousin asked me for a favor. She wanted me to use my photoshop abilities to pull the image of beautiful autism butterfly from this picture:
Autism Butterfly 1 with 2 antenna
So that they could use it for their T-shirts in the upcoming Walk Now for Autism that they have been involved in for the past 3 years.

I don't think it turned out too terrible.

I thought the idea behind the butterfly was beautiful:

"This butterfly represents the transformation of a beautiful being."

Here is some information about the important cause that my cousin is involved in.

Want to start 2009 off on a great note?
Want to help change families for the better?
Want to help children who can’t help themselves?

Please join our team Allies for Alexis as we start our 2009 Autism Walk fundraising. This is our third year in the mix and we are so excited, that so far each year, we have reached, and exceeded our goal!

As many of you know we had quite a team last year and we are so very grateful for the turn-out (rain or shine). Thanks to all of you, we were able to surpass our goal yet again!

Will you be walking with us this year? Or will you be helping our team via donations?
Both ways are so very important to our cause. Walking with our team assists Autism Speaks in raising awareness about this disease but it will allow you to see the amazing affect your dollars have on children, families and communities. Donating will help as your dollars go straight to the Autism community to help fund schools, research and developments in the way of treatment.

So please no matter the amount or the time, please consider participating with us in some way, shape or form this year.

To become familiar with our team or to donate please take a second and visit our website below—

Thank you again!
